That is what has been discussed at Ukraine Connection Day'08 conference. Microsoft solutions for development of mobile telecom operators ecosystem and Modern Software Telecom Suite (MSTS) - Softline’s innovation product – allow operators to render new services and open new business directions in other fields of activity.

At Ukraine Connection Day'08 conference top-managers of Micro­soft Corporation – Alex Danilyuk, a manager of global telecom direction, and Andrew Land, a manager of communications sector of Central and Eastern Europe regions – introduced Microsoft Vision for Telco 2.0 for Ukrainian specialists. This approach proposes a package of basic facilities sets, oriented on ilO+SaaS-ecosystem for mobile operators development.  One of the sets, for example, allows mobile operators to open new activity – Subscription Computing Program – selling of computers together with preinstalled service for telephone communication and Internet access. 122 operators in 55 countries are already using different elements of this ecosystem. Besides unified communications techniques, convergence and other blocks for SaaS-ecosystem for mobile operators development, in Microsoft’s approach, tools for software developers are presented. On basis of these facilities Ukrainian Softline Company designed Modern Software Telecom Suite –OSS/BSS-class system for telecoms operators. More than $1 mil. was invested into the development of MSTS. This system covers automation of mobile operators work at operational level and at the level of business management in general.  It is created on basis of modular approach, can be easily integrated with legacy systems, which allows quick producing of new services. Speed of new services production is a survival factor for mobile operator at competitive telecoms market.

Aleksandr Kisilevsky, a vice president and a partner of Softline JSC, talking about MSTS, paid attention to the fact that the system was created on the basis of NGO S S TMForum open standard concept. This allows jointless integration of off-site developers’ modules to MSTS. Softline is working on widening of its partnership with other developers. Particularly, Oblicore Guarantee application of Greek Syntax Information Technology Company is an added value to MSTS. Oblicore – is software for SLA (Service Level Agreement), which is demanded in the corporate clients section.

It might be considered, that intrigue of presence of Microsoft’s top-management in telecom direction at Ukraine Connection Day'08 was uncovered during the press conference. Anton Marrero, a president of Softline Company, told that MSTS – was a global product which had been developed in close cooperation with Microsoft and it would be distributed beyond the borders of Ukraine. Andrew Land added that MSTS was developed on the newest Microsoft solutions and the Corporation’s interest to Ukrainian product was so high that Microsoft would use it for expansion of its partnership network abilities.
