As it was planned, the seminar about “Realization of core activities of the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine (MDCSU): integrated electronic docflow systems – positive experience of implementation” was held on the 3rd of November, 2009 for the heads of regional state administrations of Kyiv and other cities and was organized by Softline Company together with the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine (MDCSU) with the support of CISCO and Microsoft.

The main issue of the seminar was the presentation of the implemented electronic docflow system on the example of the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine (MDCSU). According to Mr. Andrey Vishnevsky, the deputy head of civil service department, the use of this system allowed to increase the efficiency of the staff several times, significantly improve the quality of incoming and internal documentation processing, reduce expenses on paper, ink cartridges, that is an important factor in the work of government authority during the economic crisis. Besides, the present system has virtually eliminate the human factor in documentation work (loss of documents, delays in the processing and decision making). According to the plans of 2010, the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine (MDCSU) will completely transfer to paperless docflow system.

But MDCSU isn’t the only authority where electronic docflow system is implemented. Kiev regional administrations have already adopted experience as well as the regional state administration in Shevchenko district could also present the results of the use of these innovations in their work.

Besides, for the participants of the seminar, the partners have presented the latest communication systems (CISCO), allowing to solve issues of coordination with the remote structures and departments, as well as corporate information management system (Microsoft). This system (SharePoint) allows to control documents as well as archives, report system, calendar, tasks of  personnel and departments at current time, automate business processes, which greatly simplifies coordination between departments.
